The Rocketlane MCP is a hosted server that lets your AI assistant securely take action inside Rocketlane. Built on the Model Context Protocol, an open standard, it gives AI clients like Claude the ability to work with your projects, tasks, phases, timesheets, templates, custom fields, and user and company data, all through a natural-language conversation.
The Rocketlane MCP is generally available. Anyone with a Rocketlane license can use it. Your Rocketlane admin enables the connector for your workspace, after which any team member can authenticate through their AI client and start working with the data they already have access to.
Any AI client that supports the Model Context Protocol. We have step-by-step setup guides for Claude and Claude Code today, with guides for more clients coming soon. Other MCP-compatible clients can connect to the same hosted server.
There is no separate cost for the Rocketlane MCP. Anyone with a Rocketlane license can use it for free. Some AI clients, such as Claude or ChatGPT, may have their own usage costs that are independent of Rocketlane.
